Empowering the Next Generation of Shooters

Trajectrain was founded with a simple but powerful mission: to make basketball shot training smarter, more effective, and more accessible—especially for youth athletes. We believe that every young player deserves the tools to develop great form, consistent results, and a real love for the process of getting better.

Our Founder’s Story

Trajectrain LLC was created by Joseph Augustin, a doctor and educator with a lifelong passion for basketball, education, and youth development. Throughout his life, Joseph enjoyed watching the game of basketball being played and playing basketball on courts where he lived growing up. Drawing from his experience of the challenges he encountered learning to shoot a basketball, Joseph recognized a major gap in how young athletes were learning to shoot.

Today too often, training tools are either too expensive or not helpful for shooting training because they lacked a visual feedback needed for real consistency and improvement. So he began prototyping a new kind of shooting trainer—one that would teach players not only to aim better, but to train smarter.

Our Vision

We’re building more than just equipment—we’re creating a movement around athlete-centered training. Our vision is to establish Trajectrain as the #1 brand in trajectory-focused shooting trainer equipment in the U.S., and reach out to all persons everywhere interested in helping athletes become the best at shooting in basketball.
